Jambalaya Original recipe by It was adjusted for what I

Unique recipe by theforkedspoon. It was adjusted for what I’ve and to be extra child pleasant 😀

12 ouncesAndouille sausage (sliced)
1 massive hen breasts (reduce into 1-inch cubes)
2 medium yellow onions (diced)
2 bell peppers (diced)
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1.5 cups raw long-grain white rice
2.5 cups hen broth (use much less broth for texture)
1 pound uncooked shrimp
1 tbsp Italian seasonings

Brown the sausage, in flippantly oiled pot. Take away.

Use the identical pot, add 1tbsp oil, brown the hen till cooked. Take away.

In the identical pot, sauté onion and bell peppers till softened (about 5 minutes), add rice, tomatoes, hen broth and seasoning, carry it to boil. Stir effectively and decrease the warmth to simmer. Rice will probably be cooked in ~25 minutes. In direction of the top, stir each couple of minutes so rice won’t persist with the pot.

When rice is nearly finished, add shrimps, put the lid again on for about 2 minutes to let shrimp prepare dinner by.

Fold in cooked sausage and hen.
