Hainanese hen is a dish that consists of succulent steamed white hen reduce into bite-size items and served on aromatic rice with a particular sauce.
I poached a complete hen with some further substances, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tbls of sesame oil, a small piece of ginger, 2 tbls of salt, and a squeeze of lime.
Let your hen poach away for a minimum of 45 minutes.
I used the inventory from above to make my rice and reserved a bit for my particular sauce.
Concerning the sauuuuce!
1 crimson crimson onion finely chopped
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
1 very finely chopped recent garlic clove
Recent Coriander finely chopped
1 ladle of the hen inventory
Some chilli 🌶 optionally available
