Fig Almond Biscotti
Love the flavour introduced by orange zest! Positively will probably be repeated once more. I’d think about including extra egg or enhance baking powder on my subsequent attempt.

1 giant egg
2 tsp orange zest
3/four tsp baking powder
25g almond (diced)
50g dried fig (diced)
Whisk egg and sugar till creamy. Combine in zest, flour and baking powder. Fold in almond and fig.
Form the dough right into a loaf. Bake 350F for 20 minutes on parchment paper. Let it cool barely and slice into 0.5 inch thickness. Bake it for 350F for 7 min, flip and bake once more for five min.
